Important to remember that any of us would have KILLED for a tricorder this good back in the day. Mego can take their blue tape recorder and jam it up their... :angry

I'm still looking for the DS Tricorder, locally. I recently picked up the Phaser and Communicator. I would have given anything to have those back in the 70's when I was growing up. Instead, I had Remco and Mego. Oh yeah.....and I went through 3 or 4 of those "Landing Party" model kits. :lol

OMG The big Remco Phaser I hated that thing but had to love it at the same time!! :lol

Thanks for the thread! Most of my MR stuff sits in it's protective case and never gets touched. I want things I am not afraid to handle. Lat year, I would have paid this price for the DS if they had just sent me the parts in a box.

You're welcome. I can't decide on how to upgrade the screen? Do a dark filter inbetween the lens and image or paint the back of the lens gray like the real deal? I can't decide.....
