Both are the 1/32 Tamiya kits I believe.

Revell also released a 1/32 F14A in 1981. I made a grungy looking one after watching Top Gun, then bought another to turn into a starfighter - little did I know at the time that someone in California would have a similar idea.

Edit: Old age fails me. I had my idea long after the bod in Cali.

I think I was wrong about the f-16. It was Hasegawa I think. The f-14 Tamiya
