A small gesture and a thank you to friends & customers.

If a mod would like to stick this for a bit it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a rather private guy and I don't do this sort of thing too often. I tend to keep my 'causes' to myself.

I'd like to thank everyone who has recently pre-ordered anything from me. With that, there will be a small token of appreciation sent out with all of my upcoming orders. I only mention it here because it's just that; a really small token of appreciation that YOU purchased. But, these small things can add up and make a big difference in the lives of those effected by Cancer.

I've purchased "Live Strong" wrist bands to support the Lance Armstrong Foundation for every single person who has recently ordered from me. I just thought you'd like to know you've made a difference in someone elses life and didn't even know it.

So, wear it! Pay it forward if you can. You can purchase these bands on-line, directly from the foundation. Many sporting good stores have them, too.

Buy them, give them away...Make a difference. Everyone who has recently ordered from me already has.

I challenge other dealers and propmakers at the RPF to do the same for one month. It's a good feeling and small contributions do matter. Even if you just show your support by wearing the band.

Thank you

- Rylo

By the way:

No. there is nothing wrong with me or my loved ones. I am blessed.

"Speaking as a husband, I do know the worry of waiting on my wife's first mammograms after a Dr. mentions they felt something curious that's probably nothing.

Just hoping that resonates with a few people, that's all.

Thanks

A small gesture for a great cause!
Thank you Rylo, I look forward to wearing the band proudly! :thumbsup

You are welcome Rylo. It truly is a great thing you are doing here. You're a stand up guy :thumbsup

Wow, thats a very cool thing you did. Thanks!
I will wear it proudly.

Another thing that you can do, Both my son and I do this regularly, is to grow and donate your hair to locks of love.

I started doing this years ago when my cousin was diagnosed with Lymphoma.
It really makes you feel helpless when you do hear the news about someone you love...and these are both thinmgs that you can do.

Good Show Rylo...
Good Form!

Wow, it never ceases to amaze me how the details of our lives can connect us in unseen ways. We're (my wife and I) getting up there in age, too, and she just had a similiar experience with her first mammogram. Everything turned out fine, but even as a person of faith, the days of waiting for the results were a bit anxious.

Good show, Rylo! :thumbsup

We've worked with them in the past, too. You're right, they're another great organization.

My Daughter has grown hers twice for them.

Cheers!

Rylo - This is great what you are doing!!!!

Small gestures go a long way in life - I hope more people follow suit in their own ways!

Again - thanks!

It is small but important. I lost my Father a few years ago to Leukemia that he got working at ground zero... Trust me on this - small things matter a lot more then you think...

A humanitarioan gesture that my Father made coming out of retirement because he thought it was the right thing to do, to go up there and help out... It was still the right thing regardless of the unforeseen consequenses... It gladdens my heart to see stuff like this - Truly every little bit (or a lot in my Fathers case) really counts...

Not looking for sympathy - just moved to type a few words.

Peace,
Jedi Dade

I appreciate that. Thank you.

Just to keep the thread going, my wife was diagnosed with caner in 2006. She has had two surgeries for the cancer itself and another one two days ago for complications that are connected with the surgery.

I'm pleased to say she is doing great!
