A complete Beginners guide to Pepakura

Hi all,

I'm new here. There are a lot of guides and information about how to start making models with Pepakura but I found a lot of the information was a quite scattered throughout the forums or links to other guides are dead so I tried to take everything I've learnt from here and the 405th, and the rest of the internet by doing a bit of research and have made my own complete beginners guide which I've stuck up on my blog (and will happily reproduce here if requested too).

Link: Guide

Being new at this I tried to include everything I wanted to know. It's been the best way for me to learn and so if it helps anyone else that's great. Anyway that's all. Thanks.

Excellent guide, and very informative. Thanks for taking the time to collate and post it - it must have taken you ages.

You can never read too much of this sort of thing!

I also recommend glue sticks for assembly as it works fast and for scoring either an awl or a set of dividers- whichever is easier to hold.

I'd also add in a recommendation to check local humidity levels. Where I live even card weight cardstock warps beyond use. So I have to store my paper products in sealed bags and work very quickly.

But nicely laid out and easy to read and follow :)
