47 Years Of Dr. Who Explained In Six Minutes

Well done! I didn't know the season premier is April 23 so I'll have to set up the Tivo and watch properly for a change (instead of waiting umpteen months for the DVD set...).

they forgot Peter Cushings doctor...

He isn't canon and actually the movies are remakes of First Doctor episodes, so other than the fact they changed the character a lot, he is suppose to be the First Doctor. The BBC doesn't even mention him on their website, so there is no need to bring it up.
Now for my opinion, I loved the Cushing movies and a huge fan of his other work outside the Dalek movies. I have watched every Hammer film he was in, or at least that I can find on netflix.

Oh, Cushing was terrific, and I did enjoy "The Daleks" in color. But, certainly the first movie is basically a plot-point-for-plot-point recreation of "The Daleks" story arc from the First Doctor's run, with a few tweaks to the characters and the addition of a bigger budget and color film stock.

As a side note:

- I was surprised that they said they were bored during the 5th Doctor's run. I rather like the 5th Doctor episodes.

- I was likewise surprised that they had no venom (other than about the costume) for the Sixth Doctor, given how poorly most long-time fans view that run. (Although I think the stories themselves were pretty good, although the Doctor's personality never quite coalesced -- for which I blame the writers and the script editors....Saward, wasn't it, at this point?)

You're all welcome and yes, I thought they did a great job as well. I can't wait for the premiere, I'm SO watching it!!!

These guys irritated me immediately and I stopped the video after 30 seconds. (shrug)
