I had a coat made just like Harry's!! I wore it to this year's MegaCon 2013. Not one recognition, but I had a sign on the last day for people to guess who I was and win a prize (a lollipop). While waiting in line for panels we spoke to some people and with hints 4 people guessed. Ah, well. I had a blast anyway! Not sure if I remember where I got the fabric but I searched for AGES to purchase one and eventually just decided to make it instead. A friend handy on the sewing machine made me it for my birthday.

Fully reversible, heavy duty zipper, resembles the coat on the show a pretty great bit, I think. I'm very happy with it.

I didn't find it myself, I asked for help and another forum member found it and sold it to me, I don't know where they got it from.

You might be better off having one made, I really don't know.

I'd love to know as well. Harry's coat has been one of my "white whale" costume piece finds for ages.

I had it made years ago! I bought some fur and lining online and found a pattern for a reversible coat and had them sew it for me. I live in FL so it doesn't get much use, but I had it custom made for me by a friend who is great at sewing. Sorry I can't be of more help!
