3d Printable Vader Helmet File

Got the dome painted. Some industrial velcro at the front. Still have to epoxy in some magnets for stability. Hoping to have the helmet done by the weekend. Then on to the shoulder armor.

Impressive most impressive . how many total hours do oyu think it took to print the helmet ? If you could i would love a list of the things that you didn't print and where you got them. Also did you resize the helmet or leave it as is ?

I think upwards of 100 hours... The files are my own. I did not download them. I converted them from a pep model then Mr RVeldhuyzen was nice enough to help me with some of the 3d modelling.

The pep file was from a former RPF member... I cannot remember his name. I asked for permission to use his pep to convert to 3d he never responded. My advice is use the smooth files you can find... This one was a little poly because of it being a pep file so made smoothing it interesting. Its not perfect but good enough for my purposes. Most of it you wouldnt notice unless looking for it and up close.

It is the same size as the pep was. It fits absolutely perfect. I am not a big guy only 5'10".

No the STL files are not posted anywhere at the moment.

I finalized the dome mounting for quick on and off and re sprayed the clear coat. Used 5 hard drive magnets and squares metal epoxied in. She is surprisingly sturdy.

Looks great! I hate to be another person asking if you will be sharing the STL files, but I'd kick myself if I didn't :) I haven't found a version that is worthy of print yet, but this one looks to be of course!

I'm very interested in the files aswell. If someone with them can pm I'd appreciate it. This is one of the best looking ones I've seen.

I've been looking for a decent Vader helmet to print and add to my collection and I would love to get the 3D print files if at all possible. These files look great!
