2010 Wolfman medallion replica

Been looking forward to the new wolfman movie , so I decided to pick this up at Amazon -

I don't know how accurate it is to the one in the film (haven't seen the film yet), but I thought thought it was pretty cool non the less.
I was a bit dissapointed that the classic pentagram wasn't used.
Also, "universal studios mezco" is written around the edge on the back side....should be a quick fix for hose who are handy with a dremmel.

Prices usually Range from 10$ to 25$

It's hard to make out from the pics on Amazon:

I can see a half-moon on the reverse side, what's that on the front side though?

I am looking forward to seeing the movie- just a few days to wait.

One side some kind of saint, (halo, holding a cross) with 3 wolves running around him, and the opposite side has a moon with aglowing cross in the crescent and wolfsbane below the moon.
Some weird writing around the edges on both sides.

I had one of these on pre-order for quite some time and it arrived last week.
Unfortunately I was quite disappointed with it. It's quite a bit larger than I expected and the finish on it isn't even close to those prototype images

Yes, the weathering is a bit dodgy (basically just copper paint with some dark areas) , but I went ahead and used steel wool to remove the paint which revealed a brassy looking metal underneath. I then used some aluminum black and dabbed it on with a paper towel.. VAST improvement!

A little more than $10 here in the UK I'm afraid..but don't get me wrong I wasn't expecting a work of art, but mine has no weathering at all.
Just very bright copper coloured, verging on orange, a bit of a shock when I opened the packaging :lol
It's getting a repaint right away

As a test I went ahead and used steel wool to remove some of the paint and reqeathered it using Aluminum Black -

Ill probably take a dremmel to the "Universal" copyright text and reweather it again.
