2000ad Rogue Trooper Gunnar Rifle Build 2016

As I built the helm a couple of years ago I thought I would 3D model the Rifle for Rogue Trooper as well.

Wrapped up printing pieces a week ago so assembled the main sheath and started filling seams and sanding.

Im using bike lights for the red side sensors but may change that later.

It looks like I will use the printed barrel as a model for machining it out of metal. Same for the rear stock. don't want to use a crutch!. Im using an old paintball gun as the grip.

hi,just been looking at your gunnar build,excellent work.i am looking to make one but unsure on the shroud bit,thought of plywood body with warmed plastic sheet wrapped round but not convinced on look this would produce.any advice would be greatly appreciated.ta mate. mark.
