Interest 20000 Leagues Newspaper from original print block

Any chance the original Citizen Kane plates are still around?

So the paper was originally printed on what are called blanks. Everything but the front page was preprinted and the front page printed as a production needed.

Back in the 1940 EHP was hired to do a run of 80000 newspapers for Citizen Kane. View attachment 1703820

They delivered half, the other half weren't needed.

That same batch of blanks are still around in large quantity.

That's what these will be printed on.

That same batch of blanks was used in 1954 for 20000 Leagues.
