Just my opinion. Yours looks a bit too teardrop shaped. The text looks slightly larger than the original. The dolphin in the original is missing some of the ribbing (I'm assuming due to aging). Oh and the holes are too small but you probably already knew that.

Yep, the holes will be drilled after the key and hangers are cast. The shape of the hanger is rather teardropsized. I'll post some screencaps this evening where the shape is pretty clear. At first I thought the borders were parallel, but it's indeed a teardrop-sized keyhanger... As for the ribbing: these can be "aged off" by the buyers themselves if they want (see post #12).

Ugh, I missed that part about the ribbing. I said 'too' teardrop shaped meaning the top might need to be widened a tiny bit, but that's just me going off a grainy screencap. I'm sure you've poured over every detail.

These are some more caps from the hanger... I think in the first and last cap, you can see that the hanger is more teardrop shaped than it appears int the picture from yourprops. Anyway, every advice is welcome, if there are other people thinking that the teardrop shape is a bit too much, it can still be changed.





BTW, the ring connecting the hanger and key, will also be made screen accurate in the same shape as seen in the last screencap.

You're on the list. I'll commission 10 keys and hangers. I guess I might keep a second one myself, and can always offer the last 2 in the junkyard.

I'm considering adding a numbered Certificate for these, that confirms that only 10 of these were made.

Don't necessarily need the places to be filled. If there are open positions, I just keep the sets myself and sell them later. But if you want two, this is possible. Let me know before the end of the weekend if you'd like an extra set.

Also want to make clear that the deposits are REFUNDABLE! So when pictures of the final key + hanger are posted, you can still decide to back out and will receive a full refund. Just need to funds beginning next week to pay my metal-worker.

I'm tempted. BTW, to age brass, suspend it in a container of ammonia. Works very well. I'd also get some brass black.

Little update: molds of the key are complete. Creater needs to order some supplies and then we're off to production.

Just a notice to the people on the int list that did not pay yet: All spots not paid for when I have to pay the maker of these (probably within a few days), will be mine again. These keys will then be sold later individually in the Junkyard for a slightly higher price, because with the price I ask now, I'm just running break-even (miscalculated the paypal fees ).
