11th Doctor Sonic Screwdriver Build Question

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum, and it looks like one of the more younger ones as well. Anyway, there's this bit on the 11th's sonic, on the green collum, there's a copper ring around it. Where can I find that? Oh, and the gold or brass screws on the copper cage section. Also, what do people use to carve the pen blank? Thanks, I hope to hear back soon from people!

well if your trying to keep it simple i would use a small piece of copper pipe for it but if you have acess to a metal lathe then i would use that to make it, the brass screws are actually brass rivets, you can either buy these or make them by cutting a tiny piece of brass ro and hammering it down to a rivet. For the pen blank you DO NEED either a wood or metal lathe as nothing else will get you a round and smooth column.
