Hi guys,
Over the past few months, I've really got into 1:6 Star Wars figures. Not sure if this is the correct forum for this but since the figures I've got have been customised, I guess there's a tiny amount of "general modelling" involved. :lol
First up is the Sideshow ANH Vader. Out of the box, the figure was way too tall and the cape / robes weren't that great. After removing all of the armor and clothing, the body was switched out with the "Kaustic Plastik" KP02 muscle body which is pretty much perfectly sized for David Prowse in his ANH prime. The cape and robes were replaced with custom made versions and I also replaced the dome because the Sideshow version was undersized and not a particularly good shape. As luck would have it, the modern Hasbro dome from the electronic talking Vader figure was perfectly sized and has a better shape. The only thing it doesn't have is the "widows peak" so I'll be adding that later and repainting it. Here's a pic showing the figure as it looks now compared to a shot of Prowse (or is it Kermit Eller) in costume:

Here's a pic showing my humble collection so far:

Here's my highly customised Enterbay / Medicom "Ultimate Unison" Han Solo. This has THE best Harrison Ford likeness I've ever seen on a figure. The paintjob that the Koreans do on these figures are breathtaking too (in my opinion, the quality of the Enterbay paintjobs are even better than Hot Toys (which are already awesome). The Enterbay body was WAY too skinny at the waist and legs so I opted to get some of the Hot Toys "True Type" bodies. I used the legs from the "Narrow" body and the upper body from the "slim". I also used some ankle extenders to make the height accurate to Harrison Ford. The pants, boots and shirt are from the Enterbay version. However, since the Enterbay Han has the cream colored shirt from ROTJ, I chose to bleach the shirt to make it white to match the ESB costume. I used the Bespin jacket and holster from the Sideshow ESB Han but I water treated the jacket so it's more form fitting and had a more realistic drape to it.

This is the AMAZING C-3PO figure from Tamashii Nations. It perfectly captures Anthony Daniels stance and has working pistons on the elbows etc as well as light-up eyes. My photos suck so I'm using a photo that was taken by "OMG" on the Sideshowcollectors forum. I don't think there will ever be a C-3PO figure to beat this one.

This is the Sideshow ESB Boba Fett. I didn't do anything to this figure because I think it's pretty damn impressive straight out of the box. The paintjob on the helmet is like a mini Master Replicas version. Very impressive paint application.
