Thanks Steve, the first casting is done. I'll pull it out of the molds in a few minutes and post a pic.

Sweeeeeeeet.

She's completely finished now, here's the last piece out of the mold. The main body will just be a top and bottom half, easy to assemble.

Complete kit. The mating surface between the top and bottom half has a small flat lip on each side, so there's plenty of glue area. The pieces aren't just as thick as the fiberglass so it will go together more like a styrene kit.

WOW. That looks amazing. Are you not going to be doing the metal exhausts? Not that it matters to much, my hand is still hovering over the Paypal button.

The metal exhaust tubing was too thin walled so I had to nix that idea. It was pretty cool though, but if you wanted to get that for yourself it's one inch in diameter.

The kit is $200 including shipping in the US, overseas add $40.

Am I correct that you will have some of these available for Wonderfest?
If so Please set one aside for me I have a table and will be looking for the finished piece displayed.
Thanks
MSL

I'll have them at WF as well as 2 built ones, one built in the new remastered version and one original build by Thomas.

Casting away right now. I'll have an update to show when I get more finished on the build up.

That is awesome!!!
How long will this be available??? Weeks, months? It may be a little before I can do it. I woulld love to have one to go with my MR E and CC D-7.
How will the BOP decal be handeled? if any?

Lynn

I'm starting to mask off the windows with the vinyl templates which will be provided in the kit.

I start work on those again after WF.

I got all the windows masked and put a coat of Duplicolor self etching primer on.

The major construction is finished, the nacelle end caps and the gun are just tacked on temporarily. Painting will start soon, this is still the green primer.
