1/350 TOS Enterprise cutaway scratchbuild, anyone?

My scratchbuilt Enterpise cutaway is slowly getting underway. I'm using the old 1973 Franz Joseph blueprints as a guide. The finished model will have no hull or superstructure, just 24 decks and 2 skeletal engines.
And now some questions. Can anybody help me with color references for painting the interior? Any opinions on the Franz Joseph blueprints? Inaccuracies? Changes needed? Any input at all would be appreciated.

The Franz Joseph blueprints are his own idealized interpretation of what the ship should have been, rather than how it was onscreen. It is not accurate to the filming model or interior set in any area. That said, they are pretty cool. If you're trying for screen-accurate, then search for stage plans, some of which are available. OK, the building process is on hold while I work up my own set of 'as built' blueprints. 8^O
