When they say shipping Second Quarter 2007... when does that equate to?

I need to know how long I have to raise $500... lol :)

April - June '07...you have some time yet...

If it's 1:1 scale it would look pretty sweet ontop of someones life-sized Terminator....... (if you cut the 'head' off of the bust).

Aww CRAP.

It's official, I'm a propaholic :cry

I had effectively decided to finish my prop collecting after a couple of ongoing projects have completed and now Sideshow does this to me. I've no idea where I'm going to put it but I just had to pre-order the battle damaged version. Curse my love for robots.

Wow, this is going to be hard to resist.... I agree the chip looks accurate enough, but I wouldn't mind making some subtle changes. Otherwise I think the piece is impressive, and to echo many sentiments on the boards, IF ONLY IT WASN'T XMAS .

well, but the chip could be done better and more accurate to the movie...
[/b]

I think the chip matches. What would you change?
[/b][/quote]

As you posted it by yourself, the chip contact is completely golden and has cut-ins and doesn't have a green paint on it like the Sideshow version. For that money I could demand more accuracy. I got screen-shot of the T2 SE somewhere on my archives - gotta dig them out.

I know it more then likely wont be the case, but it sure would be cool if you could remove the skull itself from the rest of it and be able to hold it and ponder it's terminatorness.

So what is the story with the differences between the pics shown above and the Sideshow item.

If this was overseen by Stan, why the different cap details?

To me it looks to be an "ideal" version since the prothetic cap if different than the original Endo cap.

Yeah, after looking at the Screen Caps... the CPU port Cap isn't very accurate...

Whats with that?

I'd really like to see the eyes with an Iris like the first movie..I always thought the LED look was kinda cheesy..even though it's the way it was in the 2nd film.

Wasn't the 'iris' in the first film an over sized camera lense eye made especially for that shot?

Might be a bit too ambitious for them to replicate that for a mass produced item. But I know what you mean.

I like it. I won't be buying one as I have the previous version. But it's nice.

Funny.

QMX get ripped a new one over a freebie, folded map but Sideshow catches zero flak over an obviously incorrect details on a replica.

Go figure.

Anybody know why the difference? Stunt version? Concept? Re-imagining? (I hate that word)

Its not pre-production issues, like the laser cannon tips on the MR Falcon...?

The cover of this Endo matches all other filmed Endo skulls. It was only the prosthetic cap that had screws and slotted cover.
