Limited Run 1:1 Tekkaman Blade Helmet

I can wait until tomorrow when the oomoo 30 comes in and i can start pouring it into the mold.

So the silicone arrived today and i started the pour process. It turns out some where along the line i mucked up the calculations. i ended up been a little bit short.......oh well i will order the rest now and it should be here by the end of the week.

So i finally got the next installment of oomoo 30 today and finished off the helmet mold and a little bit of the ear. I just have to wait 6 hours before i can pop the helmet mold open and have a look at it. I will let you know how it looks when i open it.

So i finally opened up the mold and it looks pretty good i will run the first pull tomorrow and see how it looks.

So i just did the first pull its not 100% perfect but will do for this run. I am very happy with the results and cant wait to start doing the ears.

So i went to cut out the visor and clean up the edges with my demel today and found my dremel is dead. i have to go to the shop tomorrow and get a new one. then i can do some more work on the helmet.

So i busted out the new dremel today and did some work on the visor and the edges. it is starting to look great and i cant wait to get some paint on it.

So i did some more clean up and got my mate who has a smaller head then me to try it on. What do you guess think so far?

So i poured the last of the silicone on the first ear. i will break it open tomorrow and have a look.

I got some time today and set up the second ear for casting.
