Hi guys i have here one of the helmets from the anime show Tekkaman Blade / Teknoman Blade from the early 90's. This helmet is of Tekkaman Blade the good guy from the show.

I am up to the stag of molding and casting the helmet. I am planning on doing a run of 20 or until the molds need repair. I am going to have to options at this stage 1. is raw casts and the other is going to be fully finished helmet. the helmet is 19 cm from ear to ear and 23 cm from nose to back.

The raw cast option is going to be 1 Raw cast helmet 2 ears ( 1 right and 1 left) 1 yellow forehead gem and 1 green tinted visor. this kit will cost $300 USD plus postage world wide. This kit will need some filling and sanding also the visor section will need to be cut out. The helmet will need to be primed and painted.

The fully finished kit with be a helmet will be fully sanded, painted the visor and forehead gem attached. the ears will be separate and you will need to glue them into the sockets. The helmet will also have foam padding on the inside. It is going to cost $500 USD plus shipping world wide.

A down payment of $100 USD for the raw casts and a $150 USD for the fully finished

Each ear is roughly 500mm long which will mean the kits will be shipped in two boxes one for the helmet and the other for the two ears. Here is a link to the build page on this helmet.

Good luck. I'm looking for a new job and if I'm successful soon I'm definitely considering a raw cast.

So while i am waiting for more people to jump on this deal i am slowly starting to make the mother mold.

So i picked up all the fibreglass and resin today i will start molding the mother mold tomorrow.

So i got the second layer of fiberglass on the mother mold today i will leave it 24 hours then separate the mold and remove the Plasticine and get it ready for the silicone pour.

So i got some time in-between projects to crack open the mother mold. I have cleaned 98% of the Plasticine and will finish the rest tomorrow. i noticed there is three spots where the fiberglass didn't cover. they aren't big and will give the out side a patch job and another coat of resin for strength. I will then prep it all for the silicone pour when my supplier gets more in stock.

So this bad boy is ready for silicone. my supplier is still out but once he gets some in i will order it and pour away.

So my silicone supplier got back in touch with me last night and said he could do a deal for me. He would sell he this at a discounted price and said it should be at my place by Monday. So i jumped on it and now the wait till it comes in starts.
