1:1 scale Jurassic Park Velociraptor bust!

Hey I am new here and just wanted to say AMAZING work!!! I have actually been to that meseum near Salt Lake. It is truely amazing and if ever in the area a must see for sure. Also, just wanted to let you know Paleontology is my life passion and if you have any questions I would be more than glad to help out. I have a casting of an Utahraptor claw and foot (skeletal structure) that is the size of the "raptor" claw and foot form the JP movies. Also have some Magalodon teeth that if you want would be more than happy to get you some dimentions if needed. Good luck and can't wait to see that beauty painted up!!
Cheers!

I'm a bit confused. Josh are you thinking of Megalodon from England in the Allosaur family or Charcarodon Megaldon the shark?!

If its the later, I have a few Meg teeth I can measure up or even let ya check out, the 'Burghs only a short drive. I'd say you could use them but their both castings and I'm not sure what folks would say about re-casting a cast fossil... :confused

Thanks for the kind words guys! I was talking about the Meg Shark. I want to make a full size head sometime in the future. I will start out with a scale model first. Any help with the project would be greatly appreciated. So I will keep you guys in mind when I go to start the project. I have several other Dinosaurs to finish before I even think about starting the project.

I will have updated pics of the raptor soon, but here are some pics I think you guys might like to see. The first one is the body I am working on for my 1:1 scale JP Dilophosaur. It is just the rough foam armature I will sculpt over. I still need to work on it before I start sculpting.

Here is the animatronic version of my Dilo. I original sculpted the Dilophosaur for my creatures class at school. So I made a foam version before I made the resin copies. The head is servo controlled with the following movements: eyes move left and right, eye lids blink, mouth opens and tongue movies up and down. The neck and base of the head was controlled by cables. I ran into problems getting the neck to move properly, because of how much weight the head put on the neck. The neck would movie up and down, left and right, same with the base of the head. When I have the time,I plan to rework the neck mech.

Here are two dino sculpts that I will be finishing soon. The first is a 1/20th scale Styracosaurus and the second is a 1/8th scale un-named Oviraptorosaur. I hope this guy gets named soon. :confused I plan to mold them and sell finished copies with bases.
