I'll have more close up's later..Please tell me what you think.=)

can't see reeve in that sculpt, sorry. but as a generic superman sculpt it looks ok.

I can see Reeve easily. Although it's not as anchored as currently available sculpts to photorealism, I actually quite prefer it. It comes off as much more iconic. I hope it paints up well.

Will you be reproducing in resin?

Yes i will just a very limited amount..i just wanted this for my personal collection..=)

Hi,
The front and close up pics are really better than the first one. Can easily see Chris Reeve here. Of course, I'm sure it will be really much better with colors but...a pretty good work on that sculpt.

Looks fantastic.

I think the chin is a little too pronounced, but great work, thanks for sharing.

The hairline at the back of the head looks really short. It's a nice sculpt though.Very clean and sharp. The likeness is definitely there. What are the castings going to cost?

Yup, I can totally see reeve there. Very nice very nice - You definitely need a hair curl - but I assume you'll be gluing it where there's a break in the hair in the front. Awesome work

street judge just sent you a pm..yes i had to do the break in the hair curl so the mold will accept the forehead texturing easy..and the painters won't have to paint around it..i felt it would be better to put on the hair curl after painting..=)

thanks so much everybody for your kind words..=)

Ph archivist..why in this forum?..did i post in the wrong area..=)

I think it's a bit harsh to say you can't see Reeve in this sculpt. I can easily see the likeness. As soneone else pointed out, this may not be as photo-realistic as some of the other sculpts floating around here but the likeness is definitely there. Very good job on the skin textures! :thumbsup

thanks so much simmon..means a lot..i'll show some more projects soon...:)..Have a great day fred, prop, Qui, Street, and ave..you guys rock..:thumbsup

I think you should pm the mods to have it moved to the Prop section. :thumbsup

I can sorta see what RacerX is saying, but I don't agree with the way it was said. It's not the strongest Chris Reeve likeness I've seen, but believe me, I've seen much worse as well. It does feel, like someone mentioned, like a good comic-version look of Chris Reeve.

Honestly, the hair stops a bit too abruptly in the back. That would definitely be something worth doing something about. Other than that it's gonna be nice to see it painted up and finished! :)
