I found this bust on eBay and managed to get the seller to post it (he originally would only sell it to someone who would collect it in person). Unfortunately the Postal System was not kind to it and his brain got split in two:
Thankfully the top portion came off in a pretty clean break, so I've superglued the top portion back on and spent my time resculpting shattered brain fragments, filling and sanding the the split line and repainting the newly sculpted sections to match the original paintjob. I'm pretty happy with the results.
Now, does anyone have any idea who made this thing? The seller said that it was made to promote the movie, but I've never seen anything like it before. It's obviously custom sculpted (not pulled from Studio molds) as the brain is not wide enough amongst other things.
It's made of solid porcelain (it weighs 16kg!). No makers mark or sig.
Ideas?
