Re: “Mine! Or I will help you not!” Luke’s… no wait… Yoda’s Dagobah Lamp run.
Okay folks...
Two things.
1. IF you have a problem, PLEASE contact ME personally before laying a claim and escalating it the SAME DAY with PayPal, with the message that you haven't heard anything or received an item. I have posted updates in this thread as they come. I received an escalated claim with multiple entries from PayPal complaints from one person here without ANY attempt to contact me personally to ask the status, or apparently bother to check the thread. This wastes my time, and MONEY since now that lamp is out of MY pocket.
I SHOULD not have refunded him at all and just sent him the raw parts to assemble himself, as what his deposit paid for is tangible and sitting right here. But This is a lesson for me. I refunded and will try to sell that lamp now as soon as I have the revised part from Aaron at Solo's Hold which he said to me yesterday would be in a few days.
2. Anyone ELSE wanting a refund or has a problem with waiting... contact ME FIRST, or I will deny the claim and simply ship you a box of parts to assemble and machine yourself.
I hate to sound like a jack hole about it, but I don't appreciate being put on blast with PayPal when I received ZERO communication, and the notes make it sound like I'm a shady merchant. I post updates here and answer questions any time, any day...
As for project status, I had hoped I could have been mostly through building these now, but the revised part is being made and should be sent out soon. The moment I have those I will start assembly. I will likely start wiring all internals next week, and once the revised machined base is here, I will start machining and joining all base parts in batches. It's 100 degree weather time, so I will spend half day machining since it's so hot outside, and half assembly.
I will ship them out in order the names are on the list, pending final payments of course, which I will not ask for until your specific unit is boxed and ready to go.
I will be including a hand signed and numbered COA in each box.
