    Alien Isolation-Inspired "Seegson Vidicom"

Thanks guys, and hi Mike - long time no speak! Yeah, it is looking pretty clean and new... but I'm a bit stumped on how to weather it since the "save station" panel is a sticker sheet printed from an inkjet printer. I'm not sure how it'll react to paints, coffee, or even a protective clear...

    Alien Isolation-Inspired "Seegson Vidicom"

Hi all, Let me start with a lil’ disclaimer/introduction: 1) I am a total amateur, working entirely with hand tools since I live in an apartment and have been forbidden from using power tools by She Who Rules, lest we disturb the neighbours. Please try to overlook any spots of poor build...

    My new Takagi blaster

Nice! For me, the finish on the cylinder housing looks so good that I can overlook the plastic receiver. ... I ran into Takagi-san today, believe it or not! He was introduced to me by a model gun store owner who knew I'd bought the blaster. Nice guy!

    Another Custom Judge Badge

Hi all, I thought I'd show off my simple, rough 'n' ready judge badge! I'd always wanted a personalised badge, ever since I started hiding 2000AD from my Mum a couple of decades ago...! I always assumed it would be impossible to fit "Kirkpatrick" on a badge, but I'm very happy to have proved...

    Ghost in the Shell "9-Weapon"

Illustrations for special bonus telephone cards (illustrations: Hiroyuki Okiura) - An unusual look at Motoko and Batou as deformed characters You know, the more I see of these illustrations, the more I realise that I owned this book, ha ha! It ended up in a huge bag of books sold off to...

    My new Takagi blaster

Without meaning to sound pedantic, that part doesn't seem to be a screw. That plunger is a single piece incorporating the thumb slider on the outside of the gun. That's held in place with a screw, but I doubt it's what I called the "cylinder shaft screw," since the operative word is "jiku"...

    My new Takagi blaster

Mine finally arrived today! I'm still at work right now, so I haven't had time to sit down properly with the instruction manual, but I will say that your tight cylinder issue is actually mentioned in the manual, Ruprekt. (I have the same issue too). It says that the cylinder fit had to be...

New Tomenosuke Blaster Pro "Retail" version

It's difficult to tell, but that looks like a rubber stunt blaster to me. Maybe with the red LEDs added in post-production.

(Marushin) Mateba, now with blue steel finish

I was hoping someone might chime in saying they know where, but I searched a little and haven't found anywhere selling it! Sorry if I've tantalised with something that's impossible to get outside of Japan!

(Marushin) Mateba, now with blue steel finish

Thanks! I haven't tried a simple gloss black for a couple of reasons. One, I think it makes things look more plasticky rather than less (judging by the gloss black finish on some parts of models I've painted). Two, a proper coat of black with a protective gloss top coat would be so thick that...

(Marushin) Mateba, now with blue steel finish

Hi all, This is my first time showing a prop of my own here, but I figured this would pique the interest of one or two people around the board! Let me explain a little first of all: I got my Mateba a few months back, and was all chuffed to bits with it... right until I watched a YouTube vid...

    My new Takagi blaster

It's a downer that you've been unhappy with it out of the box, but I hope I can cheer you up by saying that all model guns I buy in Japan need various screws tightening up on delivery. For my part, it makes me feel like the gun is my own once I've got everything nice and tight by my own hand...

Re: Kokkado | Rakuten Global Market: エルフィンナイツ M2019 blaster Takagi type Blade Runner Hey guys, I thought this might be of interest: http://zospec.com/diarypro/diary.cgi?field=22 A part-by-part breakdown of the new Takagi blaster. For those who can't read Japanese, he's basically saying "This...
