MR Kermit pattern | Muppet Central Forum The head pattern isn't 100% but with some tweaking it's workable. I also ignored the body pattern and made a hollow rigid foam body and just stretched and sewed the fleece over it. Also you can find alot of helpful vids on YouTube of the muppet stitch.

If you are going for screen accuracy I'd avoid that wool felt slouch. Muldoons hat is definitely sewn cotton and not blocked felt. That cheapie hat on the JP forum is the closest yet, you may be able to starch it to make it stiffer and hold a bash. Or maybe make a really dilute solution of...

No offense taken. It's an ugly hat, it's just the first one I saw that had both grommets and snaps. If the grommets were smaller it would be less egregious. The only slouch I would ever want is the fur felt akubra that David Morgan sells. I have a couple of akubras and I've beat the snot out...

Could be fun. After I watched that movie I went out, bought a book on violin making, and built a violin! I didn't go so far as to finish it to make it look like the film violin but I was tempted to. If you do it I'd love to see pics.
