    Doctor Who New Cyberman Helmet

My first impression was 'hey tony stark got in on that lucrative cybermen action.' Just something about the torso. Cool though! Good luck on the build!

My 12 year old wants a Kermit puppet.....HELP me RPF-kenobi, your my only hope

MR Kermit pattern | Muppet Central Forum The head pattern isn't 100% but with some tweaking it's workable. I also ignored the body pattern and made a hollow rigid foam body and just stretched and sewed the fleece over it. Also you can find alot of helpful vids on YouTube of the muppet stitch.

Steampunk Ironman Helmet WIP - 5/31 update

Re: Considering a new Ironman Build - Steampunk?? Oh man this is a really cool idea. I'm not a very big Iron Man fan but all the iron man builds on here are so impressive. Especially the one you built for your son. I love steampunk and I'd love to see this made. The 'skinny' steampunk I.M. is...

Kermit the Frog replica puppet (Kermit meets STAN LEE! pg4)

Re: Kermit the Frog replica puppet (FINISHED PUPPET pg2) I had thought of something similar but it evolved into the idea machining, on my lathe, a small compound curved insert to put in the bottom of the eye void. Overkill! Your suggestion is much simpler. Thanks!

Kermit the Frog replica puppet (Kermit meets STAN LEE! pg4)

Re: Kermit the Frog replica puppet (FINISHED PUPPET pg2) Milo, how did you attatch the eyes? Your build inspired me to make my own. I've got the head and body built. I just need to do the collar, arms/hands, and eyes. I've been brainstorming ways to fix on the eyes but I tend to obfuscate...

    Jurassic Park: Robert Muldoon's Hat

If you are going for screen accuracy I'd avoid that wool felt slouch. Muldoons hat is definitely sewn cotton and not blocked felt. That cheapie hat on the JP forum is the closest yet, you may be able to starch it to make it stiffer and hold a bash. Or maybe make a really dilute solution of...

    Jurassic Park: Robert Muldoon's Hat

No offense taken. It's an ugly hat, it's just the first one I saw that had both grommets and snaps. If the grommets were smaller it would be less egregious. The only slouch I would ever want is the fur felt akubra that David Morgan sells. I have a couple of akubras and I've beat the snot out...

    Jurassic Park: Robert Muldoon's Hat

The Tilley T3 is somewhat close. Though, the grommets are too big and too high. It doesn't have the vertical seem in the front and the brim may be a bit shorter. Tilley T3 Hat - Village Hat Shop Also this Dorfman looks like it could be modified into an ok close enough: Dorfman Pacific Aussie...

Kermit the Frog replica puppet (Kermit meets STAN LEE! pg4)

Re: Kermit the Frog replica puppet (FINISHED PUPPET pg2) Oh man, that is one awesome looking Kermit! Add me to the chorus of people wanting one. I went multiple times to the touring Henson exhibit which had, amongst others, my two favorite muppets: Kermit and Gobo.

    the Red Violin

Could be fun. After I watched that movie I went out, bought a book on violin making, and built a violin! I didn't go so far as to finish it to make it look like the film violin but I was tempted to. If you do it I'd love to see pics.
