Here's the ring I made. I used a 60's era tin ring from a gumball machine. I couldn't tell exactly what was on the sides but I went with some small dolphins that seemed appropriate. Also, I printed the image on glow-in-the-dark paper because it seemed like something it would have.

Re: Foam Jaffa Horus guard headdress. I've had good luck using Latex Kilz to prime, painting with various cheap acrylics, and then using Future Acrylic floor wax to seal. It stays fairly flexible and durable and even smells nice.
