Nothing wrong with it not being popular. I tried to convince my friend to do the Rocketeer one year and he didn't feel anyone would get it and so didn't do it. I think so long as the costume is well done and interesting, whether people 'get it' or not, it'll be a cool costume to everyone around...

Since my birthday is Halloween I always do elaborate costumes, however being heavy I never do established works (with the exception of last years Ghostbuster). I've been trying to lose weight for this years costume. Aiming to be A LOT smaller for next year and my Galactus costume.
