With the use of a tripod you can then alter the setting of your exposure manually i.e. aperture f 5.6 to f 11 and prolong the exposure time accordingly, hence the use for a tripod ... with the use of a higher aperture you increase the depth of field, in...

Upgrading a Hasbro Rancor EU version

Haui ... you're correct but I wish I knew what they used to recreate that slime as seen in this behind the scenes picture : Personally, of all the Rancor figures I've seen online which have somesort of glue-droplet hanging from the mouth, I was not very pleased with that permanent result...

Thanks Analyzer and ABE ... I'm pretty pleased with how the shape of those wrist cuffs finally turned out ... Upgrading a Hasbro Rancor EU version

Well today I managed to get the Rancor's manacle or wrist cuffs made. I used some random plastic pieces to scratch build the part, some faux leather and magic sculpt ... this is what it looks like before applying paint : And of course I had to gather some metal rings, which will be...

Upgrading a Hasbro Rancor EU version

Today I had a rare moment in my kitchen with the sunlight ... so I present to you the Rancor in movie technicolor : Yesterday I added a little bit more green to the shoulders and spine and the back of his head : Weathered his shoulder spikes to be less prominent and did some touch...

Thanks Bloop ... and it's like you said ... it already makes a great difference in color if I shoot pictures of my Rancor in bright daylight or on a cloudy day. Chaïm

Upgrading a Hasbro Rancor EU version

First I took a full frame picture today in daylight, to see what I had already accomplished yesterday : Then some pictures to check the result of his backshield : Then I decided to give the spine, shoulders and his backshield a slight wash of dirty green : You can barely see that...
