Watching this with so much interest!

Thanks everyone! The sanding stage has been extremely long! I have come up against a small issue - during the last 6 months I have lost 2.5st in weight so it slightly doesn't fit now... Haha ><' but i shall get that fixed! I've started to buy some of the fabric that I'll need for underneath but...

I'm still going with it! Unfortunately I'm at the WONDERFUL priming/sanding stage... I have hands like sandpaper already! I only get a few hours each night to make any headway after work so it's slow progress. Unfortunately this isn't going to be finished for my September deadline but I think...

So a little more progress! I have now got two matching shin guards and the first few layers of primer on the breastplate! PHEW! Thank goodness you guys are patient! :D

Some minor updates to the breastplate - I have added the left side of the detailing and also the mid section. I have used Apoxie Sculpt for the two round medallion-type-bits ( :P ) Ignore all the doodling all over the build, it'll get covered obviously in the primer anyway but I'm not very good...

Thank you :D You guys and your words of encouragement keep me going! Haha. I'm so weirdly proud of my Worbla progress considering I'd only made a test bracers before this for another unfinished project :D

My first attempt with Apoxie Sculpt - I don't think I've used anything similar since high school! >< I used it just to smooth and fill out the front to get rid of the 'cups' and create the shape down the front. It's coming along, albeit in small steps! I'm hoping to push on with the build more...

I've managed to finally get something done! Hoping to get some more done tomorrow, too! The breastplate needs some real work doing to it but for my first build I'm feeling positive! Lots of forming/shaping tomorrow, for now I shall rest my burnt fingers :D I have put a bit of my painting...

I love it, it makes some work feel much easier and gives a really solid base for projects. The drawback is the price but I suffer from having very little spare time to work on things so it means I can finish projects! Fibreglass looks incredible but I can imagine it takes a lot of clearing up...

It really depends on how dark you're going to go with it - that also depends on your natural skin tone. Powder might be a good start for you though if you're new to contouring as you can build on it, but creme will blend nicer :) it's all about preference :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
