I have used the company Glasplies in the past when making fibreglass head moulds and positives, the web link is below. The basic materials you would want are;
wax or pva realse agent (a good beeswax works, doesnt have to be an expensive product)
Chopped strand mat for strengthening...
i've not long gotten hold of an airbrush so will be trying it out shortly. Its not an expensive one as I didnt see the point as i've never used one before. I'll take a look online. Thanks
i've just started buliding model kits. Can anyone give adice on how to paint? Base layers, paint layers etc. I'm painting an Airfix kit with tamiya acrylics.

Not so much a prop as a model. This was my bash at reproducing one of the Argonaths form LOTR. My first large model.
