    Zvezda Avenger-Class ISD-II - WIP

Just my 2 cents...I've been using LaserBond (as seen on TV) Dries in 3 seconds, hold great, and if you need to, pry up a corner with a hobby knife and it comes back up. It's also great for doing temporary mock ups.

DeAgo Falcon on the kitchen table

Well my friends... With all that's going on I've decided to mothball the DeAgo for now. All the sudden my heart wasn't in it so rather than slop it I put it away. I may very well be moving to Wisconsin in the next few months for a new job and a new life. So it may be a while before I put up...

DeAgo Falcon on the kitchen table

Had a box of SW goodies show up today so I pulled the rear gear panels back off and the front lower jaw. Drilled for the red hazard lights, drilled for all the smaller sized landing lights. mapping those was a bit tricky due to the metal framing but it worked out pretty well. The chopped pieces...

I'm also thinking of stabbing a small LED in the back of the bunk where it won't actually be seen, for ambient light...opinions?

Thanks Ged, that sounds like a good idea, some sort of translucent tubing. This thing comes with gear doors, like the FM, right? Perhaps I can cut them similarly to what I did with the FM, then just scratch some hinges. Tell me, is yours near completion? Just wondering about the weight... I...

Hall floors aren't too horrible...40 bucks...but I want the cockpit corridor as well...but 150 is a big pill to swallow:eek: Also just figured out there isn't gear bay doors in the open position:mad: ARGH

Not too much, but I managed to stuff some FO in a couple of the appropriate places though it doesn't quite light as well as I had hoped. I used .25 and probably should go with .50 with a bigger mushroom at the end. Anyway...It's clear that I'll also need Tony's corridor floors. There's no way to...

DeAgo Falcon on the kitchen table

So the interior of course looks too toy-like and the detail on the pieces that are there are bleak. I'm not going to go nuts with it, but I added a few things to busy it up a little, probably do more before it's over. I did order the game table (drilled for FO) and the grated floor from 308...

Btw...I don't understand the assembly sequence to this thing AT ALL. It's all over the map. Very strange set up.

DeAgo Falcon on the kitchen table

I'm working on the hold wall today. Seems a bit sparse for detail but I have no intent to try to duplicate the images shown in the booklet. I added some left over greebs from the PG stock front lower pits. Since I went ESB on the PG, there were some really good pieces left over...and I never...

Hey Ged, Yes, selective. there are certain components I like better than others, and I'm not a purist for specific accuracy.
