    The Phoenician Scheme

Agreed. It was a standard Wes Anderson flick. Entertaining, weird, quirky, and I always love the little weird gizmos.

Hunting for this piece, sharp eyes requested

I actually think I found it. I believe it's from the Tamiya 1/20 Toyota Celica LB Turbo, Part E15. But I'm not sure how big this piece is. The square piece that accompanies it is roughly an inch square. *Edit* Found the item info on Scalemates and confirmed with the Tamiya distributor...

Hunting for this piece, sharp eyes requested

Bringing this one back from the dead! Found some better photos of what I'm looking for. Looks like some sorta radiator bit? Looking at the piece on the left. These are reference pics from the RS Props B-Wing Chest Box they're now offering. I realize that it might seem like contacting them would...

    Identifying RotJ Speederbike parts

The second photo, the one that shows the red button on the end of the grip - the piece that wraps around that end almost looks like a plug for a bulb (the thin slot pointing to the left in the photo). Reminds me of the bulb sockets on my old 2000 Chevy Cavalier. The red button itself doesn't...

Deadpool & Wolverine Movie (DP3) Suit

From the people I know doing wardrobe, they'd never bother doing that. Unless the sole is a distinct character trait, they just go with what's there. It's also worth considering if the soles changed with this year's model. We have visual confirmation but that might be of boots that were made...

Deadpool & Wolverine Movie (DP3) Suit

I know a few boots were used in both DP 1 and 2, solely (pardon the pun) due to the stunt performers using Nike SFB's, Danners.... probably a few others. Of course, the ones used on displays are probably whatever they can find that's close.

Hunting for this piece, sharp eyes requested

Hi folks! I'm looking for a model piece and was hoping someone here might have some ideas on what it actually is. Here's the best image I could find of it: I know this is made of 2 different kit parts and I already have the bottom, square bit (from a Tamiya Harley kit). It's the top bit that...

    Deadpool 2:Cable

Just a little bump. I went to my local dollar store and they had the lighters in stock. I'd be happy to pick some up for people willing to pay ($3 for each lighter plus shipping). I'll also have to drain and gut them to make them safe for shipping, but nothing that would affect how they look.

    Deadpool 2:Cable

I can't seem to find the lighters in store anymore. Haven't really looked hard but they seem to be gone. I have a couple for myself but they're a different colour. As for the prop maker who did Cable's rifle, his name is Ken Palkow. I doubt he's got any lighters around as he was purging his...

X-Wing / Tie Pilot glove details

As with most things Star Wars, they vary. I believe they were old motorcycle gloves. Some pilots had gloves like this but with shorter cuffs, others with the length you have here. They look about right, so that's good. Continuity was never SW's strong suit. :D

"Ready Room Scale" Stargazer parts ID and build

I just got my work table back in order and I'm hoping to spend some time during my Christmas break on it. Working on some other stuff first. But this one's always on my mind.

    Spray booth? Y or N?

I'm in the same situation. I was thinking about going the DIY route but decided (next pay) on getting a portable booth. As much as I'd like to make one, I just don't have the space.
