JayCVenlo's - Iron man Mark 43 Avengers 2 - Sintra and Fibreglass Build

I actually started to modify and cut a paper-version Mk42 forearm I had printed out... WAAAAY too much work to glue each piece... Definitely go with foam. LOL

JayCVenlo's - Iron man Mark 43 Avengers 2 - Sintra and Fibreglass Build

One more question for the folks playing the home version of the game... How long do you figure it took you to assemble each piece?

JayCVenlo's - Iron man Mark 43 Avengers 2 - Sintra and Fibreglass Build

A few questions, if I may: - white or black Sintra? - did you heat-form any of the pieces or just bend them and hold them while the glue sets? - what did you do about the back with regards to any resin running (Sintra having no edges, unlike paper pep) - what did you make the brace from?

Scammer , recaster warning : latest alias Loganprops, recent alias Snikt Shop

Provide super-concrete proof of scamming to the admins and I'm reasonably sure they will act appropriately and turf him. Do it in PM, though. I know one of the admins (Dough - it's his group) and if he had hard evidence of one of the members scamming other people, I bet he'd drop him like a...

    Heroes in tights Deadpool review

Oop. As it turns out, upon venturing to his website on my mobile, I got a 'suspected phishing' site warning. ... ignoring it and proceeding with trepidation, apparently the website has been 'suspended'... whether permanent or temporary, I do not know. ... but I guess that settles that.

    Heroes in tights Deadpool review

Wow. I bought a 'Hal Jordan' Green Lantern from HiT in 2010 and it's stood up to plenty of abuse, and multiple washings without colour bleed. 2011, a Clairmont 'Cyclops' with the bandolier getup... similar fabric, but it failed due to a fall and torn knee on my part... never got to really...

Darkside501st's Iron Man Mk VII pepakura files - Password in First Post

Re: Darkside501st's Iron Man Mk VII pepakura files - New Pics pg 100!! What, exactly, is the problem? Too long? Not long enough? Does it feel like it cuts into the underarm?

Which Iron Man Pepakura files to use.

In general, 'foam' builds are less expensive, a lot quicker to build and less durable, while fibreglass builds are a lot more resilient, the price goes up, they're heavier and tend to have the details that foam tends to miss. If you knuckled down, you could probably churn out a complete suit in...

Which Iron Man Pepakura files to use.

THAT. Pick a piece... craft it... once you're happy with it, move to the next piece... be patient, KNOW that you will make a few mistakes and likely have to scrap a piece along the way... =)

Re: Darkside501st's Iron Man Mk VII pepakura files - New Pics pg 100!! All the files are (should be) there... and yes, for the axillary parts (arms/legs) if there's only one copy, it is either a piece that can be used for both sides (upper and lower forearms are interchangeable, for...

Re: Darkside501st's Iron Man Mk VII pepakura files - New Pics pg 100!! DarkMessiah - I found the forearm-elbow-bicep attachment to be a bit of a hassle, too... We're all built a bit differently... and have different widths and lengths... if I built the units to match my arm-width at the elbow...
