I actually started to modify and cut a paper-version Mk42 forearm I had printed out... WAAAAY too much work to glue each piece... Definitely go with foam. LOL

One more question for the folks playing the home version of the game... How long do you figure it took you to assemble each piece?

A few questions, if I may: - white or black Sintra? - did you heat-form any of the pieces or just bend them and hold them while the glue sets? - what did you do about the back with regards to any resin running (Sintra having no edges, unlike paper pep) - what did you make the brace from?

In general, 'foam' builds are less expensive, a lot quicker to build and less durable, while fibreglass builds are a lot more resilient, the price goes up, they're heavier and tend to have the details that foam tends to miss. If you knuckled down, you could probably churn out a complete suit in...

THAT. Pick a piece... craft it... once you're happy with it, move to the next piece... be patient, KNOW that you will make a few mistakes and likely have to scrap a piece along the way... =)
