Well, there's always the old 'completely disassemble the gloves at the seams, make a pattern based on that, and make brand new gloves from more appropriate material'. But that's a lot of work for something that is still likely possible to find somewhere in a clearance bin if we look hard enough.

huh, interesting. I'll keep looking around for some more grayish gloves, but I might end up going with the black/white ones from walmart and seeing what I can do to fade them without damaging the softness of the leather. I'll keep the updates coming as I try things.

Yeah, with the white stitching, it's probably safe to assume the original gloves weren't dyed for the show, but I'd imagine it's going to be nearly impossible to find the exact perfect gloves. I ended up not buying the brown gloves, they've got a winter liner inside that I don't wanna deal...

So I can say with some confidence that the specific style of gloves that Jayne wears is definitely a common style. The issue is finding a pair with the correct color combination, or something that can be altered to reach it. These are a pair I found today. They've got an Ace Hardware logo...

I bought a pair of Big Jake gloves as well, and I'm planning on removing the cuffs and either swapping them on the gloves (so the logo is on the inside of the wrist, where some paint or whatever over the logo won't be so noticeable) or turning them inside out. Although I agree, finding the...

Any opinions on how to mount the wall brackets most safely? the screws and anchors that were included don't seem the most sturdy options, considering the weight of the gun. I figured I'd go with some bigger screws straight into studs, provided I can space it out properly.
