    Working With Tubing

Best I can say is 'loctite power grab'. It dries clear and remains semi flexible. I can't say for sure it would hold up to long term flex/wear, but it does grab hard maintaining some wiggle

    Dremel question

There are dedicated 'plastic' blades too. Those help. To be honest I'm not sure how exactly they are different but i do have some and they are better on that front.

Need help displaying Aliens Pulse Rifle prop

I use stainless pegboard. It isn't truly accurate to anything in particular, but I think it has a nice cold and efficient look that invokes the idea of areas in a futuristic sense. You can get two 16" x 32" panels for just $35 from Amazon. Plus, as you discover you need more display area...

    Aliens M240 Incinerator

Might be late to the party here, but if the "plug" dimension request was regarding the Hensen coupler fitting in the back I can get you that. I have one at home. If the carry handle issue is still in doubt, I would say fill it in. These are closeups of the last 2 flame units to sell through...

The Inigo Montoya sword (Factory Entertainment re-release) Review and Upgrade vids

Did a search on the site and saw the most recent post about the Princess Bride Inigo sword re-release was over 2 years old. After a loooooong pre-order period mine finally showed up a several weeks back. I did an unboxing/review video for it. After a month of looking at it, I decided to...

Mini Alien costume (for Daughter, with video)

In a shocking twist, my daughter actually said she wanted to be an Alien for Halloween! (I swear, no prodding or prompting from me!) I built it from stuff I already had laying around, mostly consisting of various types of foam. Overall we had a lot of fun with the build. Everything fits a...

    Son's Pirate Deadpool costume

Son has been a fan of costuming as deadpool for Halloween and conventions for some time now, but this year he wanted to add a little variety. Enter Pirate Deadpool! Overall we are both pretty happy with how it turned out. Now to just find somewhere to wear it...

Aluminum Aliens Colonial Marine Armor (Build documented with Video)

Pretty much done with this one. I just posted video #15 in the series ("Final Paint, weathering and trim"). The 10 week journey from old school aluminum sleds into colonial marine armor is just about complete! For details on how it was done, check out the youtube page (BigBisonT Props)...

Aluminum Aliens Colonial Marine Armor (Build documented with Video)

4 years ago I built an aluminum/steel combo USCM armor set. Eventually I had to sell it along with a bunch of other stuff when I had the chance to get a true Terry English set. A few years later, I am now gun-shy about dragging the TE set around. I feel like I need an alternate "beater...

Hit a couple more events this year. Still hope to build a proper arm by next 'con season'. Overall was a hit. Lots of fun for everyone.

Thanks. Looking to tweak/improve some things before we suit up again in June

Early 90s comic Cable / X-Force Family costume w/ domino, boom boom, and deadpool

My son is pretty in to deadpool right right now and my wife has been wanting to freshen things up with a new "family costume" this year for con-season. Since my son was pretty bullish on being deadpool, I figured "OK, we can do X-Force as a family. But we are doing it the way I remember them...

METAL (aluminum & steel) Colonial Marine armor (aliens-USCM) DONE!

All wrapped up. (pardon the crudeness of the display. Screen accuracy of the clothing on the mannequin wasn't the goal as it won't be on display long)
