Working With Tubing

Hi there,
First of all, apologies if I’ve posted this in the wrong place.

I was just wondering if anyone could help. I’m thinking of making a costume out of clear tubing, the kind you’d see in an aquarium or something like that.
Some of the tubes might be empty, others filled, possibly a few LEDs here and there, I think it could be quite cool and cyberpunk.

My idea is, somewhat, similar to the the armour from the 1992 Dracula film File:Dracula armor - Coppola - Stierch 01.jpg

I just can’t figure out how to form the tubes into complex shapes. I could knot them, but that’ll just come undone. Nails or staples will just break, pinch and scratch.

Is there anyway of shaping and working with that kind of tubing?

Best I can say is 'loctite power grab'. It dries clear and remains semi flexible. I can't say for sure it would hold up to long term flex/wear, but it does grab hard maintaining some wiggle
