So its been a while since ive been back on here, hell, it was a while since i worked on my new suit. well while i took that break and now have less than a month to finish it b4 ohio comic con, the reasoning i find to b quite worth it...i got a new girlfriend, not only a new girlfriend but im 99.99% im going to marry her
shes really amazing and she loves alllllll of my nerdy thing. shes even going wit me to ohio con as black widow! I mean how amazing is that!!!!! but this isnt a personal blog but a cosplay and replica sit...
UPDATE:
ok so the first thing im gonna throw at u is the new, 3rd, and final shoulders. since the ultimate armor shoulders i couldnt get to look right i caved and went with the mark 42 ones...well they were too small for me. so i got the Helagaks new shoulders and increased the size by like 20%. well the end result was amazing. their bigger, cover more, and look more appropriate for my body type.
and heres a pic for from the second shoulders to the current ones
ok now we have the gloves and the hand covers as well. nothing too exciting with the hand covers but the gloves are wats gonna shoot this thing to the next level for me. once i get it painted im gonna gut out the center hole and put a small tap light in em so its like a blaster special effect. this was one thing my last suit lacked in and am very excited about!
ok, and lastly for this update we have the shins. once again i built one but it came out too small so i had to rebuild another one this time and it was the perfect size! actually risked it and built them at the same time to conserve time. mark 42 shins with ta lil less detail. also gonna b fun to paint as well :unsure
btw ignore the black squares, they were drawn on to help me place em in the right place.
ok well not a bad update, still working on the neck and it is looking great, gonna work on the boots next, followed by the thighs, them the abs, and lastly the cod. then theres gonna b fiberglassing certain parts, plastidiping the whole thing, then lastly painting. oh not to mention the electronics in the helmet and putting it on a hinge so i can make the faceplate hinge up. gotta get building fast!
