Well, it's a good thing it's at least known where it is and it has been published. Maybe we can pay Stephen a visit in London and see it from up close.

I was actually looking at the photos of the museum saber earlier today, and I thought to myself "there's no way that was crinkle painted unless someone then sanded it." No amount of dropping or handling would do that to the crinkle finish to make it somewhat smooth like that museum saber, right? It's a weird variant. Wish I knew why and what happened.

***** ****** those are beautiful images! Welp, I feel lucky we now have wonderful documentation of the real Hero Prop for ESB and ROTJ. Doesn't happen with most props :)

and that wire is more red than brown!

Look how thin the wires are!

Yes, I immediately noticed that as well!
And I also agree that wrinkle paint probably doesn't wear down to such a smooth surface just like that. It's not even an area which is likely to be held.

And I've been thinking about something else. The shroud I replicated from Chaim's real MPP seemed most certainly casted from a light metal, probably aluminium. The edges in front are really thin. But this shroud shows rust and is obviously made from cast iron. Also, the front edge is slightly thicker. This is a strange difference. So could it be that this is another MPP version?

Wow great pics of the saber...and great Vaderpics also!:)
If this is really the same saber as in the casino I need to update my version. The chrome looks "newer"as on the pics before.
And I need this screw on the side of the middlesection.
We need pics from the other side that we saw on the casinopics ...please!!!

Want! Wish a perfect MPP replica was available. NEVER seen one of these for sale! haha.

Somebody make it happen, now that we have these pictures please! :lol

He and Brandon can have a fight now, V2 vs vader hero

The blue wire is indeed thinner than anticipated from previous picture available ... the white seems a little bigger to me ... but the grey on the other side is definately bigger than the blue. So what gauge variations are we looking at here?

Looks just like the Parks shroud!

In this next thread there are some more pictures before the prop was traded ... that
protruding screw is part of the original lever that had been broke off, read the text
above the 7th picture posted :)

Ah thanks...but the ESB/ROTJ sword had no lever on this side...only the ANH one?I´m no lightsaberexpert so sorry!;)

So the question is...was a lever on the side or not from the beginning? If so we I could build one on the side of my saber. If not I need a replica of the screw to glue it on my saber on this side.
