wrinkling up an old kobold

I did this this a few months ago, I thought I would share it.
I took apart the battery cover to a silver kobold and using black wrinkle paint I painted it .

I started off with the sliver kobold

then with some work I got the bottom cap to come off.

then with some 800 grit paper I gave it some teeth for the paint to grip to.

first you give it one coat of paint, then a few minutes later another, then it begins to wrinkle up.

a quick note, I used clay in the script so it would not get paint in it. then after a while when the paint firmed up a bit I cleaned out the clay. I would imagine there would be an easier way to do this, but it was after midnight and I wanted it DONE !

after some time in the oven to bake the paint.......finished !

I remember you recommended this paint to me, and I bought some.

It really does work great! If you follow the directions on the can, it's relatively easy to get excellent results.

I've used it on several things, including my anovos Droid Caller. I wish I had a pic of it to share.

Anyway, the paint ain't cheap, but I'm way impressed with it.
