I just met someone in a parking lot to trade cash for models, lol. Any one have any good "score" stories? Today's was a doozy:

I recently scored a pristine UPC Yamato... $70.00 including s/h from an eBay vendor who didn't know what they had, and listed it in 'Other'. Does that qualify?

Scored this on eBay--complete and unbuilt--for $70 because the box was water damaged.

Niels found me these gems at a bargain price recently.
(Adams/UPS kit were used a bunch in the UK during the late 60's, especially on 2001 and UFO)
The Honest John was slightly started, but it pairs up great with another started kit I have.

Added 5 Revell 1/96 Apollo kits, 1 Otaki D51-101 locomotive, a Plasticart Wostok 1, an Airfix B-29, and a Wave Stingray kit to the stash.
All were purchased at the local IPMS open house and swap meet in January. The total damage was a little over $225

Not a kit score but I did find some Floquil Grime in the LHS for $2 per bottle. Could not pass that up.
