Re: Pcoz's Hasbro Hero Star Wars X-Wing Conversion
**Another Quick One***
I cut out the locations for the screens to be designed and install later...***** IF ANYONE HAS ANY RECOMMENDATIONS ON HOW TO MAKE THE SCREENS, PLEASE LET ME KNOW****
Printed out the decals, coated, and allowed to dry. Then applied to the appropriate pieces.
Checking the fit and look.
Although, I like all the small details, I'm not a huge fan of decals and would much rather paint. I'm going to try to weather what I have here and if that doesn't look right, I try to paint over and weather. We'll see....
In the meantime, I did not like the interior of the engines looked. Redesigned them as well as getting the LED's installed.
Worked on building one good one to mold and duplicate.
Didn't have anything on hand so, I picked up some Amazing Cast Resin from the local Michaels.
and molded a few.....
So here is the order of the engines. The obscured smoky plastic came from small dividers in a plastic case I had. The distance of the LED set back lights the entire circle, diffuses and softens the light.(Pic's next post of it lit)
Thanks for checking it out !
Be back shortly with some more updates. Again, if anyone has a good idea on how to build the cockpit screens, I'd love to hear from you !
Thanks !
