Re: Pcoz's Hasbro Hero Star Wars X-Wing Conversion
Hello fellow RPF'ers
Well, I haven't had much time as of late to work on this thing, but here's is where I am from my last post....
I dry fit and assembled the wings onto the fuselage to check the x-wing openings for accuracy and sturdiness
Started in on some of the details on the fuselage itself.
The torpedo bays looked pretty sad on the toy, so I cut out the entire panel, rebuilt and replaced.
As far as the wings go, before I start priming or painting, I wanted to add some depth to the battle damage. This has to be one my favorite parts....Slave over this project for months and then take a drill, dremel, etc and start hacking at it...lol. I found a 1/4" drill bit on low speed, held at an angle created some nice scars.
feeding the wires for the LED's
Rear is done, ready for primer
Touching up the nose a little
As always, thanks for looking !
