JFcustom's FOAM files

Samus.jpg

what is done so far : foam samus suit.rar

I know you are crazy busy with all your files and stuff but as I was reading through the 80+ pages I stumbled across this post and got excited! I wanted to make a samus suit for my GF for comic con, and I could barely find anything relating to the suit other than the one here Samus Aran (complex) | Nintendo Papercraft but for my first time that one looks a bit crazy!

I didn't use all the parts in the Briareos files but here is what I completed out of it if you don't follow JF or I on Facebook. Thank you to all whom contribute to this hobby.... Keep it up and craft your fandom!

Hi,

i'm just starting to build the nightingale armor with my girlfriend and when i printed out the pieces from the pepakura viewer some pieces are missing, for example the parts for the upper legs.
I found that they are somewhere in the file but not in the section where the other parts are and they also look like stacked or sitting on each other.
Did I do something wrong? Do other people have the same issue? Does anybody have an idea how to solve the problem?

I would really appreciate help with this, thanks so much for the files and this awesome thread!

PS: the file i´m talking about is on page 78, http://www.therpf.com/f24/jfcustoms-foam-files-148889/index78.html#post3202349

Those parts were intentionally removed from the "active" area in Pepakura. One of the things that JF does to the file is remove any unneeded pieces and parts. There will be a lot of pieces that were originally part of the Pepakura file that won't be used when converting to foam and ESPECIALLY so when using JF's files.
