Last i checked, the most japanese pronouns are gender neutral save for kanojo (when used informally refers to a girlfriend). And i have never heard godzilla referred to as such.

Any female egg layers never got mutated, or were extinct.

I hope when he said "I'm a big fan" what he wasn't thinking "Yea, I've seen a few of the movies."
