Well buddy and I went late this afternoon and we had a private screening. Theater was just us. It was as ridiculous as it was fun. I put myself in the right state of mind before, and call back to some of the Japanese films that of course were remarkably silly, but beloved. No need to watch again. Very Kong heavy, Godzilla they sort of just kept checking in on his status as the movie converged the main player monsters. Given it's what I would call a kids movie first for sure, I think we only saw one person die. Hundreds of thousands would have been dead in some scenes with brutal destruction of buildings but we put that out of our heads as we have so many times before.
