Going to to try and get this completed in time for Planet Comicon in Kansas City in mid-March, so that gives me about five weeks.

Building from foam core and a little bit of EVA. Painting as I go to speed up the build process.

More work on Voltron’s head. Jaw pieces are just taped on. They’ll ultimately be attached via magnets. Pay no attention to the colors, just using craft foam that’s handy. Hopefully to be painted soon.

Almost done with helmet construction. Still need to do the horns. Fits like a motorcycle helmet.

Nice! One suggestion though: you might want some cord to tie between the front piece and the back piece, limiting its' movement. Otherwise, a wrong stetp could make the front piece hinge way too forward and end up causing some serious injury to your foot.

Voltron’s left leg is done. Very happy with how it came out.
