The Birth of a Little Pink Vader

Howdy, Here is my Little Pink Vader build for my Daughter Elanor.

First we got her some Darth Vader PJs...



She really liked them and wanted to be Darth Vader for Halloween. Our friend gave us a Darth Vader voice changer Helmet...



Then she was looking at Vader pictures with her mother online and saw a Pink Darth Vader costume that a little girl was wearing and she wanted to be pick as well. We didn't force Pink on her, this was her choice. Get off my case gender Politics police.

So, I started by sanding the helmet, also in this picture is her sister's Princess Leia Blaster...



Then came painting...





And I put it back together...



and on a whim I painted her a pink lightsaber as well (kind of poorly painted)



her mother will be making a Pink tutu to go with it, but the helmet is all ready...

You sir... are an awesome Dad! :thumbsup I love your daughters imagination & vision. She has truly made Darth Vader her own, & it ROCKS!
I was able to get my 6yr old niece into Star Wars. Watching the OT with her made them way more magical than they've ever been before, for me. She loved Princess Leia the best. My brother says I've created a monster. & I couldn't be happier
