That may actually be the same head I saw before, though I assume there must have been something similar for T1? And I'm fairly sure the photo was black and white and similar to the other behind the scenes photos from T1. It's shame he didn't actually demonstrate the iris in the video!
Most of the T-studio stuff on his website/youtube seems to be from around 8-9 years ago, maybe he has advanced since then. I did find a video on youtube where somebody had put an iris module inside a terminator eye:
But that was over 10 years ago and it doesn't seem he got any further.
These are the type of iris module I was talking about: 0.5-12mmAdjustable Mechanical Iris Diaphragm Microscope Module Camera LenAdapter | eBay I've actually ordered a couple of these to play with (waiting for them to arrive from china) I don't think it would take much modification to incorporate them into my latest eyeballs, but not sure if I will leave them as they are or make a 3rd iteration. I want to concentrate on building the rest of the robot, but it's something I might come back to.
