Star Wars The Acolyte (tv series)

Heat staining (or faux heat staining) has been used a lot on Disney/Lucasfilm Star Wars lightsabers and blasters. I think Kylo Ren's was the first to use it. Then on his Jedi lightsaber. And Rey's. And there might be a couple others.
On an emitter or parry plate, it looks plausible. In the middle of the lightsaber, where you'd expect to grip it: it is weird.

The original light whip. Carried by Lady Lumiya.

Githany also had one during the battle of Ruusan also carried one.

So…the Wookie-Bun Jedi seems or imply, with his yellow tunic, that Chewbacca and his clan are actually bizarre nudists…

I mean…it does make sense with Itchy aka “Bad Grandpa”….

To be fair, Jedi robes are more of a religious garb. And there's only so many things you can do to make a Wookiee look like a Jedi. The old EU also had robe wearing Jedi Wookiee's. So this seems to be the least egregious thing they've done.

In the prequels no two Jedi have the same costume. All the men seem to have some variation of the tunic monk look while women seem to wear whatever they want. Some women have a variation of the typical tunic and some are blue with the heavies popping out.

Trisha B talks about how Jedi are individuals and wanted that shown in them each having their own unique costume.
