Really love that. Although i have a Batman Begins suit i still prefer the '89 Batman of ALL the movies.

Strange that the cowl is such a pale gray color. I was expecting it to be flat finished but still basically black.


The cape is an under-appreciated part of the costume. That fall of 1989 I spent weeks making a Halloween costume and left the cape for the last minute, thinking it was a minor thing. Wrong. The costume didn't look right until a lot of effort had gone into the cape too.

Isn't the original made from a bunch of wool sections, and it almost forms a full circle? I recall reading about it at the time. It looks heavy too.

That first movie was the best one, imo. I actually didnt like it when it came out but many years later have come to appreciate how well it was made/written.
