This will be a very small run. Probably less than 35Thanks for the updates, Anakin Starkiller. I’m excited for this ROTS Anakin run.
Still based on the Azarian, correct? This will be a very small run. Probably less than 35
Last I was aware no fx, these are built exactly like the originalAnakin Starkiller You may have mentioned before (apologies if so), but will it be fx capable? I'm in either way. Just curious.
this is something that happens all the time when you turn something then chuck it in the mill to do grooves but the alignment is not the same, so one side will have slightly deeper grooves than the other, resulting in different plateau sizes here. If your run is done on a CNC lathe with integrated mill, the result will be perfect, if it's done with a manual lathe and a manual mill, or a CNC lathe and separated CNC mill, it will end up just like the ref.It looks like the size of the plateaus changes a little. I suspect they vary, ever so slightly, because of hand de-burring.

Completely agreeToo many FX versions out here already. It’d be good to have some statics
You’re my heroI felt inspired today to do a little work on the bodies.

Yes. It will be based on the Azarian prop. It will be mostly aluminum, with chrome and gold-plated resin parts that are cast from the original production-made pieces. The grips will be rubber and will be applied topically with 3m vhb tape (no recesses a la MR or OM). And it will be entirely static. The copper button and eye will be machined from raw copper.Still based on the Azarian, correct?
